Perhaps, perhaps not. What is a slob? Someone who wanders around a little stinky, doesn't comb their hair, dirty clothes. Why would a woman be interested in that, when they clearly aren't interested in themselves.
Take that slob, and give him a shower and a shave, and wash his clothes, have him take some pride in himself (which translates to confidence), then nothing else matters.
