My first time was pretty interesting I was 17 and a junior in high school. I grew up on an island in Southeast Alaska in a town of about 3,000. Now as all the neighboring towns were also on their own little islands and there's no way the government would even consider paying the money to connect small remote towns by bridges, school travel for sports and ect. was a bit interesting. I imagine most other schools simply load their teams on buses, drive them to the next town where they play their game and then drive them back the same day or the day after. We had to jump on a ferry and take a boat ride that lasted anywhere from 8 to 36 hours to reach another town. So school travel was a bit like taking a three or four day vacation to go party in another town. I took a ceramics class my junior year as an elective, I had fun and it was an easy grade. Now there was an art festival that all art students were elligable to attend. It got you out of school for a week where you would travel to another town, all the other art teachers from southeast were there with their students and you would just take art classes from different people for a week. Recently I had been having better luck hooking up with girls from other places rather than the hometown crowd but I hadn't made it all the way yet. I got to the festival and signed up for a silk painting class and a raku ceramics class. The silk painting class was full of people but there was only four of us in raku. There was me, two other guys, and a little blonde freshman girl who started giving me the eye the moment I walked in. So I sat down, introduced myself and got to know everyone. The chick turned out to be really cool and since we had a lot of time to kill between classes, we hung out together. Now I don't know how we got on the subject, it comes up that she didn't wear underware. I knew that moment. I just thought "Score!".
