AAAGHH I hate that. I've had so many close calls because some idiot didn't know how to handle a 4-way stop sign. She'd wave me on, I'd wave her on since I don't have right of way, she'd just sit there for like 5 seconds, then we'd both pull forward at the exact same time. And that probably just freaks them out more so they sit there and let twice as many cars through the next time.
A related and possibly even more infuriating one is when someone randomly comes to a complete halt in the middle of the road to let someone else pull out into traffic. Those stupid gestures just confuse people and undoubtedly cause quite a few accidents.
And why is it ***ALWAYS*** a woman pulling this crap?!
