love is certainly something that we do, love is really about connection with another, touching the core of that other person and understanding them, being honest with them about who you are, sharing your whole self and vice versa, you can 'love' someone, sure we've all 'loved' someone . . . But to be IN LOVE . . . you have to act on those feelings, make that communication or gesture to the other person, making that connection through actions is what constitues being IN love IMHO.
