i would get a PS2 if you are looking for more variety in gaming. If you like FPS, then X-Box. The hard drive, i must admit, is awesome for making back up of the games you played.
I played both but i have more fun on PS2 but thats just me... im just waiting for granturismo 4 and that will be it for me.
