I don't want to overstate the sliminess or the fishiness; with decent salmon roe "fishy" is definitely
not the first thing that comes to mind, though with better salmon roe "less fishy" is a fair comparison (if that makes any sense). Oh, and it's not any slimier than you would expect a bunch of fish eggs to be.
