One of the first things I noticed when I got my waitressing job was the overall attractiveness of the wait staff, so I'm sure they must have standards of appearance before they hire you.
Also, one of the girl recently got a nose piercing, and one of the managers was upset at her. I think that it really shouldn't be a big deal, but clearly they have an image they want to uphold.
