When walking throught the store at work, and I see her coming my way. Our eyes meet. And we unwaveringly gaze into each others eyes. I give a small, toothless smile, only to receive one of the brightest smiles I will ever see. So warm and inviting. Like she has too many teeth, but they've been artisticly placed in her mouth. Her kissable lips without lipstick, and a natural tone that compliments her skin.
And the gesture was meant for me.
The rest of the world cease to exist for the moment. The distance between us couldn't not be measured by feet or meters, but by feeling, which grow with each step, and peaked as we passed by one another as we had our own duties at work. Nothing was said beyend a simple hello, since we were a little distracted to find the words. Makes you like people again. And brightens an otherwise crappy job. She's the only reason for keeping it.
and i wish she were still speaking to me
I'd have to say it's their smile.
