Not quite what i mean. Subaru motors are boxer motors, which i guess are technically horizontally opposed. What i really mean is; on a car like a 3 series bmw, the i-6 motor has the first piston towards the radiator and the last one by the fire wall (front to back). Cars with little 4cyl's like hondas mostly have horizontally mounted motors (ie left to right or vice versa). Thats all i meant, But i understand what u mean.
