I use NowPlaying to update a "recently played" list driven by a bit of PHP/MySQL: http://theravenel.mine.nu/nowplaying.php?action=view
I also have everything setup to run a shoutcast server so I can listen to my music at work, along with the Winamp Web Interface to let me control my music remotely.
