Somewhere today a child had a school lunch and it was the only nutritious meal he will get today. Somewhere a child didn't even get the school lunch. Somewhere an insecure asshole gave his wife/girlfriend two black eyes and she has no idea what to do to get out of that situation. An old person somewhere is sitting in a cold dark room tonight due to not being able to afford to heat their home adequately. Someone may very well die from exposure tonight because they don’t even have a home at all.
I realize you were likely making some comment on the decline of our society, but bad television is hardly the root cause of it. And if we think we can blame TV for what is truly bad in the world, we are never going to solve any of our problems.
