They're doing this kind of crap over at Walmart -- supervisors messing with the electronic timesheets to shave hours off employee's time. The store managers there have overhead targets that they're supposed to meet, and part of that means keeping total hours below a certain level. That's often not possible, so some managers just jiggered the timesheets to _make_ it possible. Most of the employees are too sheeplike to complain, but some have.
If it's happening at Walmart, it's at least a strong possibility the same thing might go on at McD's for the same reason. Go in with your documentation and give them the benefit of the doubt; but be prepared to escalate if things don't move along.
