but there is also the aspect that it really doesn't feel the same. some of the new toys are pretty realistic but they still don't have the same soft-but-hard feel to them. they are either too soft or too hard, the "give" just isn't right...something. and while vibrations are nice for some women, some of us don't care much for them. i like vibration on my clit but i find strong vibrations inside me irritating--it doesn't hurt, but larger vibrators bounce right off the bone and it just feels...odd, and not in a way i find pleasurable.
i also like the way it feels when our pelvises grind together, you can't get that kind of pressure from a toy. well, maybe from a doll but i've never used one so i don't know. plus, i love the weight of a man on me during sex (or against me depending on the position).
toys are great in addition to a partner or as a substitute when you don't have a partner--but they simply don't compare to the real thing.
