Yeah scandinavian enviromental taxes are that high. In Denmark the price gets that high because of the environment taxes and registration taxes. The registration taxes alone adds 200% to the normal price of the car, so when you buy a car here you actually buy three in a sense.
I for one am thrilled about the taxes. Don't you see that this is the most effective way to preserve the enviroment? If cars were as cheap here as they are in America then we'd all owe one and polute like hell.
