Uhmm no I don't know halftoning and I don't get any of what you're explaining   I thought I'd understand the process if someone explained it to me but boy was I wrong! I'm sure I'd get it if you showed the process to me but since I don't know anything about the Premiere Filter or halftoning I don't understand a thing when it's explained to me in words.
Perhaps if you made a drawing of some sort?
