Well, from the details that the I-Man gave, I would disagree senor mephisto and team. Ironman says "in his country" there are certain requirements. He also could have been told by the store manager (rather than the abrasive store owner) - that regretfully there was an error and that steps were being taken to correct it. From a customer relationship perspective - had the store manager tried to address what the Ironman had gone thru - escalation could have been avoided ... something like "... hey I know you made a special trip - we can't do the error thing but how bout 10% off on any other purchase - because we value you as a customer and appreciate the special trip ..." Finally, now that the complaint book and all the other issue have arise ... no reason why the I Man should not enjoy some fine plasmatic entertainment !
