i have never [as far as i know...] said anything rude after sex, and my partner [first and only] hasn't ever done anything really rude. but reading all these posts makes me feel glad that i don't casually date. both my partner and i respect one another, and i think it would be hard for me to find someone, male or female, who could give me the level of respect we have for one another.
i think i am in agreement with the idea that men are socialized to be "jerks" when dating, but that doesn't make it right. i feel sorry for anyone who is in a relationship with someone who doesn't respect them -- male or female.
