Why would Brees sign a 1-2 year deal knowing he would be traded ? If I were him I'd milk this Pro-Bowl caliber season and get the biggest juiciest contract I could.
The Chargers organisation showed no loyalty to Brees by drafting Eli etc, so why should he show any loyalty towards them ?
