If you like the thrash style of Slayer, check out old Sepultura, like "Arise" and "Beneath the Remains." I would venture to say that it is even better than Slayer's "Reign in Blood." Of course that is just my opinion.
That is another thing. There are a lot of "elitists" in the metal community who will look down on you because of bands you listen to. Forget them, and just listen to what you like.
