The hospital I work at gave out the FluMist to healthcare providors under the age of 50 (that's me!
). It felt a little strange having some fluid squirted up your nose, but there were no other side effects. No fever, chills, cough, runny nose, headache or muscle aches. In all, I think the FluMist is a safe and effective method for being vaccinated against the flu.
