I have an old WinTV card that has multiple input types. What types of connections does yours support? VGA, and/or RF? I sometimes get a black or blue screen when the program is set to recieve from the wrong device (like my webcam or the cards VGA-input). Chances are you've already ruled this out, but I thought i'd mention it anyway.
