If you are former military, you can get USAA. I use USAA for checking, savings, auto, life, homeowners, mutual funds, etc.
Non-profit, very low prices and you get a rebate at the end of the year based on profits for the company--kinda like being a stockholder.
Also, I have an "electronics" rider on my insurance. If any of my electronics equipment breaks--regardless of how--they replace it. I just used to replace a digital camera that I dropped and broke.
