There's actually some sort of safeguard in place to prevent incest, something about growing up so close to someone, like a sister or a brother, makes you not want to sleep with them. It's hard-coded in our genes that we tend not to see such close family members in a sexual light to diversify our genes.
Something like that anyway. Edit: but obviously there are exceptions.
