And hemophilia. Forget not the giant clusterfuck that was the royal houses of Europe. It sucks inheriting a disorder that probably kills you if your male and will kill you if female. Not to mention missing or deformed organs, twisted limbs, etc.
Bad thing happen when you fuck your sister. Especially if a group of twenty or so keep intermarrying throughout the generations. Yech.

EDIT: A point: yes it does usually take a couple generations for all of the flawed and recessive traits to concentrate and become expressed. But sometimes all it takes is one.
