The Mets will not make the playoffs next year. I'm saying right now. I don't see how a gimpy Pedro, a gimpy Floyd, a gimpy Reyes, a gimpy Piazza and a whole bunch o' crap will help them make the playoffs. Benson is WAY overrated and...well, I dunno why they made those trades at the deadline last year. Boy would Kazmir look good in the rotation next year, huh?
I see zero reason why the Mets will be better than the Phillies, Braves, or Marlins.
