Actually at 34 a 4 year contract is fine.
He is a good pick up ( i hope)
OIf the mets secure a good middle rotation they will do awesome with Pedro.
SO what if he only gives you 6 good innings each game, that is fine. Have him pitch 6 scoreless innings and bring in a confident long relief guy who will always pitch when pedro does.
Boston like the chumps they are mismanaged Pedro.
You know why they won last year becasue their management through everything they had into the series with total disregard for the future. It shows how desperate they were. they knew the only way to win the world series was to jeopardize the health of their players.
and what do they have this year? a team that will falll apart with no hope to win again the future.
Of course it is not guaranteed the Mets will get Pedro
