ok, what I meant, was more that the load times are much different. Page rendering means almost nothing to me as a normal user. im sure I couldnt tell the difference either way - unless one was extremely slow and I needed to bitch about it!
ill also agree with the standards issue. we are looking at this from 2 very different perspectives. I just want it to work, and be easy. you want it to play nice. I also think its time for an IE upgrade.
