IBM is getting out of the computer business...They have made really great notebooks in the past. Make sure you get a laptop with builtin wireless and is lightweight. Those are 2 things i wish I hadn't passed up with mine.
One more thing. DON'T go HP. I got a ze5155 model a few years back and it has been nothing but trouble, it is actually getting serviced right now by best buy. I also recommend buying an extended warrenty if at all possible. They're great.
