Opeth is a great band but its not the best (never say that a band is the best say that is what u most like) and is not prog rock. Is prog death metal and one of the bests.
Black label is a good band i dont like their style but i respect it.
Im seeing Slipknot with Iron Maiden???
What is this??? it says METAL recomendations, Slipknot its not metal.
If u dont feel ready to hear death or black metal begin with classics, Iron Maiden, Metallica (1981-1989), Old Sepultura, Slayer, Venom, Dio, Accept, Judas Priest. Heavy Metal is the law.
