I have a 30GB ipod. I have about 30-40GB in mp3s, so.. it fits me nicely.
It's awesome because you can also use it as an external HD as well, very handy for backups
(not sure if that was mentioned already), so it has 2 uses and is worth the price.
And yes, it works in linux.
