About 20 years ago a similar event happened to me.
Now granted when I was 20 my temperament was much much worse than now, however, to a point I can relate.
Long story short.
Was in a chicken and rib franchised establishment with 3 friends. We all ordered the half chicken. When it arrived, theirs was fine, mine was pink and had blood coming out of it. At least 5 times I told the server that it wasn't exceptable, and 5 times I got a shrug. The manager came over, said all the chickens are cooked the same and didn't see anything wrong with the meal. I POLITELY asked for another meal and his response was no. I told him, and since my friends were finished their meals, that we would like the bill and that I wasn't paying for my untouched meal. He presented the bill, my meal included and said if I didn't pay, he'd call the police. I said fine call the police and proceeded to throw the raw chicken, plate and all right across the restaurant. We paid for 4 meals and left, and 20 years later won't patronize that very franchise.
I know what I did was wrong, and was I an asshole for doing it? Maybe yes, maybe no.
I guess I shouldn't have let my temper get the better of me. I should have eaten the chicken, got sick and sued the restaurant. Ahh the things one learns when they get older.
