Actually, the best reason to go to 64 bit is simple. AMD is EOLing the socketA processors, so in the future, the only chips you'll see from AMD are the 32bit low end Semprons, and the mid-high range 64bit Athlon64s. Starting in mid 2005, Intel will also be anouncing desktop 64bit cpu's. Like it or not, you're not going to get a choice in the matter. The world is moving to 64bit.
