The reason that I say that the birth of Jesus was the most significant event in history, is that no other, one single man, has influenced so many, for so long, before...or since.
And I agree, if it hadn't been Jesus, then it most certainly
would have been someone else. Fact is, though, it
was Jesus. Therefore, by default, it was
his birth that I consider to be the most significant event in history. Not the greatest...but certainly the most significant.
