I used to wear briefs in high school. They held everything in place so there would be no embarassing moments. But as soon as I came to college i switched to boxers. No real reason why I did, but boxers don't constrict you. I tried silk boxers..got a pair from on old girlfriend. Ripped them the first time I wore them. So just stuck with 100% cotton from then on out. It's more preference than anything.
