Actually, I think you'll see Clear Channel drying up very soon, sat radio is going to kill them.
Karmazin didn't leave as head of Viacom/CBS for Sirius because he wanted a pay cut to work with Stern.....lol
(BTW for all you out there who want to ramble on about CBS being liberally biased...... in an interview with Karmazin, he stated that while he was a friend of John Kerry's his vote had to go to Bush because Viacom and CBS make more money with a GOP president and he had to vote and endorse the president most likely to help his company.)
In all honesty, if I had money I'd sink every cent possible into Sirius right now, with Karmazin there, it's just a matter of time before Viacom/CBS buys them up.
Murdoch is an old man, he'll be gone soon and his family will destroy his company as so many families do. They'll fight for their share and control and eventually it'll be broken up. So News Corp while their bias is horrid doesn't scare me. Faux News is still Faux News and will start losing its appeal when something bigger comes along. I remember in the 80's and 90's hearing that CNN and Turner were brainwashing kids and had such a left slant that it would effect the future.... didn't did it?
What truly scares me are the sleeping media companies that are positioning themselves very quietly such as NBC/Unviersal, they are slowly buying up cable channels and becoming a powerhouse.
Disney will be a player once again after the dust with ol' Roy Jr and Eisner clears.
Fox is dying off (maybe that's why the deal).
Time Warner/ AOL is dying off, their biggest mistake was pushing Ted Turner out and merging with AOL. I see them eventually splitting apart again and both being extremely weak. But it depends on what Turner does.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
