I currently use a laptop as my desktop system at work. Bought the most expensive laptop Dell had a couple of months back (Dell Latitude D800). It has a Pentium M 2Ghz processor in it. I am quite amazed at how fast it is, considering too that it also has 2mb's of L2 cache on-die.
