Mr. Mephisto is on the ball. Also, in the Temple Bar district you'll find a Viking museum. Vikings controled Irieland for a couple hundred years. That's where they get the red hair. Old Celts have black or brown hair. It's pretty fascinating.
And don't forget to hit Dublin Castle. It's a cool hodge podge of different building stiles from medeival to Victorian.
