First, make sure file and printer sharing is installed (probably is since you can see the printer)
Double click my network places
Right click on the connection and select properties
Make sure file and printer sharing is in the list and checked, if not then install it.
Once you are sure file and printer sharing is installed, simply go into explorer to the folder you want to share, right click and select sharing.
Click on Share this Folder
Give it a share name.
Default permissions are everyone
Click OK
That should do it. Once a folder is shared, you will have access to all subfolders as well. You can share drives as well as folders in the same way.
