The Republic of Russiskstan is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its burgeoning chupacabra population. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The large government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 25%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Retail and Cheese Exports.
Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Russiskstan's national animal is the chupacabra, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dolma.
