First time the ad was offensive, second time I watched it I laughed cause his outburst is just so ridiculous. I don’t know, people watch TV to get away from problems no sense in reminding them so I say don’t air it.

Well, sadly a lot of the women that marry these wastes of skin are the product of a home with an abusive parent. They say that family violence is a cyclical phenomenon, and that it's a difficult cycle to break. For lots of the victims, the ongoing abuse is simply 'normal' - they've been getting beaten all of their lives. If someone loves you - they beat you.
I used to work with adult mentally handicapped people. One of our clients had been born 'normal', but had been so severely beaten as an infant that she was brain damaged. She had two sisters in the same boat. She was of the opinion that if you loved someone, you beat the hell out of them. Guess who she developed a crush on?
Assuming that there will be audience members who are being abused, maybe showing the ads to the people who are 'getting away from their problems' by watching television will wake them up to the reality of their problem, and cause them to seek either help or escape. The better reason to show it I say.
