Well I played some and I have to say I enjoyed myself. Whacking people with toilets and file cabinets is a nice twist to the same old deathmatch gameplay. I can't wait for more *real* servers to become available. (I suspect most of the servers thus far are people with DSL, and the network traffic involved in tracking all that flying office furniture is a bit much for even the most impressive home connections.) I also look forward to a time when the available servers aren't all so full; I actually do pretty well at the game when it's an insane spamfest, but I think I might enjoy it more when the action is not *quite* so frenetic. Either one of the available maps would do well with a half-dozen players IMHO, allowing for a teensy bit more time for actual strategy and less "die; respawn in the middle of an existing firefight; immediately die again" dynamic. Larger maps might accomplish the same thing, although I have no idea at what point larger maps might create performance problems.
All in all I'm really glad we have another option for online play (I have never, and probably never will, played CS). Fun stuff!
