I use boingo here and there (Airport, mall, coffee shop) but on a pay as you go basis
But most of the time I find enough open networks there is no need to pay...
Man the damage I could do if I had no scruples.
I digress...I've had no problems to speak of and I pretty much just use their free software as a sniffer every where I go
