Yep it is a cat tree - they are on the top level - they almost always end up sleeping together - often on our queen size bed, we will find two cats sleeping one on top of the other or curled up together. In fact, at this exact moment, they are curled up together on the lounge right behind me.
They also have a little cat house - I think it is designed for one cat, but they happily jump in there together.
They would sniff, start purring and expect to be petted. I never should've thought they would make good guard cats
