Ella - make sure you turn on some type of security on the wireless thingy. Otherwise your neighbours could connect to the net through you. Let us know if you get stuck - I'm sure we can help you get it going if you have problems.
Second tip - make sure all your machines are patched, firewalled and virus scannered, all of which can be had for free - nothing like an always on connection to make the bastards of the Internet focus on you.
