I don't know the reason, but there are very few quality white running backs or recievers. Notre Dame's last skill position pick in the first round was in 93. If anything, I'd say Ty's race would help him in picking quality skill players, which Notre Dame has lacked the past few years. I really don't feel this firing is racially motivated at all.
