I just did a paper on this
... which explains why i made a poll on these here forums as well.. heh It depends on ones reasons. If you're doing it just to have them and thats it, then BY LAW you're stealing. Personally I DL them to try them out.. To remember what they are called (sond and band names)... From that Its not really Illegal i feel because if i hate it, its getting deleted real fast. And if I like it, I'll buy it as soon as I have the money and can find a store that carries it.
To go on the extra mile... I find p2p as a good thing when it comes to music. Bands already make most of their money from tours, Well I think that by p2p going on, it'll finally hit musicians in the head to stop trying lawsuits for their CD's, and just forgoe it and go on concert more. This means more tours for us, which is what we all really want.
For most reason, I find it legal.
But still i guess its stealing... but the question is (rhetorical mind you).. Would you call Robin Hood a thief?
