Bad tastes in music (and cheesy cliche "love" music a la Barry White/Marvin Gaye) turn me off, which is why I'd rather listen to no music.
It would be a bummer to get with someone only to have them turn up and say, "Hey, let's listen to Limp Bizkit while we do this." I would never be able to take that person seriously ever again..
