I am certainly glad to see that Eddie Izzard and Billy Connolly were both mentioned... I got to see Eddie Izzard in person a few weeks ago when I was in the Late Night w/ Conan O'Brian studio audience.
Personally, I am a huge fan of Drew Hastings, Richard Jeni, Mitch Hedberg.
Some off the wall folks that I like include Jim Gaffigan, Joe Rogan (yes, I said Joe Rogan), and Robert Schmeigel (Spelling? It's the guy who does Triumph the Insult Comic Dog).
Really OLD comedians that I like include: Rodney (of course!), Lenny Bruce, Freddie Prinze (father of Freddie Prinze Jr., extremely funny!) and Don Rickles.
