As a DeLorean afficionado, I have to intervene here
1. It was slightly over 8,000 DeLoreans that were produced.
2. There is no such "shiny-bodied V8 Back to the Future Model". Every DeLorean made had a V6, every model had the same Stainless Steel Body, with the exception of 3 cars, which were made from GOLD.
