If thats a little too close to your budget i would recommend the Nikon COolpix 4100, which has just as good of a macro ability but for only about 200 dollars. (link)

Also, the Nikon Coolpix 3200 isn't bad either, and I think the price of that camera is 199.99. Very nice macro and very nice interface with your computer. Just basically plug in and your set. Just remember to get a memory card, the 3200 only has a limited amount of internal memory.
